Follow these instructions to preserve your mat in its best form:

The yoga mats from The Yoga Zone are made of natural rubber with a PU surface coating and should only be cleaned after every fifth to tenth use, as recommended by the manufacturer.

To prevent staining, make sure to avoid using oil-based creams before your practice.

We recommend diluting a small drop of washing-up liquid in plenty of warm water and carefully wiping the mat without rubbing.

As a natural alternative to dishwashing detergent, you can also dilute equal parts of lemon juice or vinegar with water.

More frequent cleaning is only recommended if you use the mat for sweat-inducing exercises.

Please do not use chemical cleaning sprays or sprays with essential oils to clean our mats, as they can damage the mat.

Important: The mat should only be rolled up again when completely dry. If you have been sweating in your yoga class and need to carry the mat home, please unroll it to dry as soon as possible.
